Childcare Essentials”: Choosing Quality Childcare in Nebraska” is a new initiative undertaken by the University of Nebraska Extension’s Early Childhood Team, Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services and Nebraska's Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families, and Schools Communications team. The booklet will serve as a early childcare resource to replace the previous "The Right Place," which addressed early care and education for children. The new publication will cover the importance of quality childcare and how families in Nebraska can locate the best care for their children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years, based on the family's and the child's needs. While the brochure is currently under the process of revision and design, the team hopes to have it available to the public by the Summer of 2022.
