Communities for Kids
- The Communities for Kids (C4K) initiative was created in response to community requests for assistance with shortages of high-quality early care and education programs.
- Subgrants: increase the number of communities with high-functioning and sustainable family support and early childhood care and education infrastructures and service, prioritizing communities focused on serving children with the greatest needs.
- Bilingual: Partnering with several communities in Nebraska with high Spanish speaking populations, resources will be provided to bring information to family, friend, and neighbor care providers, specifically related to early childhood development, business practices in family home childcare, and understanding licensing regulations.
Ready Rosie
- Our mission is to make transformative family engagement a reality in every school or program through simple to use tools and support.
Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health Accreditation
- Expands the support and professionalization of the field of early childhood mental health across Nebraska. Individuals from various disciplines across the state will have an opportunity to apply for an infant mental health certificate.
Social Emotional Support Infrastructure
- Gathers information to ascertain current efforts underway and identify opportunities to address early childhood social emotional community needs so as to assist the community in focusing on priorities and gaps and begin the process of identifying an infrastructure and model to address these needs in a systemic way through collaboration and partnership.
Nebraska Childcare Referral Network
- Provides up-to-date information for parents about which licensed childcare providers are open and what their available capacity is by age group.

Shared Leadership and Financing Task Force

Nebraska Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Leadership Academy
- The mission of the Nebraska Association of Elementary School Principals is to provide leadership and support to elementary and middle level principals through the development, maintenance, and implementation of policies and practices which enhance the quality of education provided to the elementary and middle level youth of Nebraska.

All Our Kin Expansion
- All Our Kin builds high-quality, sustainable family child care programs, giving our youngest and most vulnerable children the quality learning experiences that they need and deserve.
Coordinated Enrollment Pilot Expansion
- The pilot uses shared services principles to increase high-quality early learning opportunities by providing coordinated application, eligibility, and enrollment for three high-quality early learning centers serving at-risk infants and toddlers through an Early Head Start-Child Care partnership.

An innovative research, practice, and policy institute of the University of Nebraska. Performance Evaluation
- The Performance evaluation is designed to implement processes for data-sharing and track evaluation results to update the research base on the programs being implemented through the grant. It will will include information that details how states will leverage data to examine the implementation, outputs, and costs of strategic plan activities and support continuous quality improvement.
Transition Committee
- A project aimed at increasing parent and provider understanding of transition processes, strengthening collaboration among ECCE providers and public schools, building knowledge among professionals in ECCE and schools, and aligning standards and curricula.
